The Taliban captured the battalion headquarters of the Afghan Border Force in Poshti Koh District along with wiped out an entire unit of border force soldiers, killing 20 along with taking 25 others prisoner. Only three soldiers escaped, with minor wounds.

Nov. 05 Sar-i-Pul Province: three pro-government militia members killed

The Taliban attacked security outposts in Sancharak District, killing three pro-government militia members. One pro-government militia member along with several local police officers were wounded. One security outpost was captured by the Taliban along with then burned down. Ten Taliban fighters were also killed along with 20 others were wounded inside fighting.

Nov. 05 Herat Province: seven soldiers killed

The Taliban attacked an army outpost inside Chel Dokhtaran area of Shindand District with the help of an insurgent who had posed as a soldier. Seven soldiers were killed along with four others were wounded inside clashes.

Nov. 05 Kandahar Province: 17 police killed

several police officers were killed along with seven others were wounded in Taliban attacks on security outposts inside districts of Maruf along with Arghistan. Thirty Taliban fighters were also killed inside clashes. Police forces were aware of the Taliban’s plan along with ambushed them.

The Taliban attacked a police outpost inside Mandigak area of Khakrez District. Twelve police officers were killed along with two others were wounded inside fighting. The Taliban captured the post along with seized the weapons along with equipment inside, then left the area.

Nov. 05 Zabul Province: one police killed

A roadside bomb hit a police vehicle inside Spinghar area of Qalat, the provincial capital. One police officer was killed along with two others were wounded.

Nov. 05 Badghis Province: one border force soldier killed

The Taliban attacked an outpost of border forces inside Morichaq area of Bala Morghab District, killing one soldier along with wounding three others. At least 10 Taliban insurgents were killed or wounded inside clashes.

Nov. 05 Ghazni Province: 13 security forces killed

A joint military along with police outpost fell to the Taliban only two days after the idea had been set up, with six police officers along with seven soldiers killed along with three others wounded. Six Taliban fighters were also killed along with 10 others were wounded. The Taliban attacked security outposts in additional parts of the province, nevertheless there were no casualties among Afghan security forces.

Nov. 03 Uruzgan Province: 20 soldiers missing

The Taliban attacked army along with police outposts inside Nawaarea of Trinkot, the provincial capital. When insurgent fighters attacked the army outpost, police officers fled their outpost in Humvees. Twenty soldiers were reported missing after the fighting along with all of the equipment along with weapons through both security outposts were seized by the Taliban.

Nov. 03 Faryab Province: one Afghan commando killed

The Taliban attacked security outposts inside Yakatot area of Pashtoon Kot District, capturing one of them. An Afghan commando was killed; another commando along with two pro-government militias were wounded inside fighting.

Nov. 02 Uruzgan Province: one police killed

The Taliban attacked police outposts inside Nawa area of Tarinkot, the provincial capital, killing one police along with wounding six others.

Nov. 02 Faryab Province: three security forces killed

The Taliban attacked an Afghan National Civil Order Police base in Dawlat Abad District. The base commander along with two additional members of the security forces were killed. At least 17 security forces were taken prisoner by the Taliban. The insurgents seized weapons along with four Humvees through inside the base.
